Special Education Teacher – The RSEC Academy High School

The RSEC Academy High School is seeking a High School Special Education Teacher to provide instruction to adolescents with learning disabilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: lesson planning and instruction of all required content areas; community building activities for students; development of experiential activities; and parent and district communication. Must also be willing to plan and take part in adventure based activities within a small team, and participate in extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will have a NH Teaching Certificate, knowledge of Curriculum Standards, knowledge of special education, instructional strategies, learning disabilities, PBIS, and experience in an alternative school setting. Must possess strong organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and work well with others.

Middle School Paraprofessional – The RSEC Academy

The RSEC Academy is seeking a dynamic special education paraprofessional with experience in behavioral interventions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting students with school tasks; data collection; implementing behavioral interventions; participation in training opportunities; and assisting teachers with classroom management and tasks. Must also be willing to plan and take part in adventure based activities within a small team, and participate in extracurricular activities.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of special education, instructional strategies, learning disabilities, autism, behavioral interventions, and experience in an alternative school setting. Must possess strong organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and work well with others.
