Pre-Mother’s Day Parade this Friday, May 8

Sunrise Childrens Center Pre-Mothers Day parade

Sunrise Families – We have planned a PRE-MOTHER’S DAY DRIVE-BY PARADE for this Friday, May 8th. Since we are unable to do our in-person Mother’s Day Tea, we will hold this drive-by celebration honoring our moms. Our parade will begin at 4 pm with cars lining up through our parking lot off Route 101A.

Families are welcome to come through with signs, decorations, noise makers and horns to celebrate our mothers. Sunrise students will be cheering you along as they socially distance along the property fence line. We will be serving packaged cookies to all families who come out to visit.

We also want to give a shout out to two of our “student teachers,” Ms. Danielle and Ms. Mykeala. These high school seniors have been with us for two years and have made a huge contribution to Sunrise. Mykeala will be attending UNH and Shannon will be attending URI. We want to recognize their love of and commitment to our children and families as a part of Teacher Appreciation Week.

So please join us on Friday for this special day afternoon of celebration.

All the best-Ms. Lorraine

PS: if there is anything you need, such as resources or assistance during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help in any way possible.
