High School Science Teacher – The RSEC Academy

The RSEC Academy is seeking a full time High School Science Teacher

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lesson planning and instruction of all required content areas
  • Community-building activities for students
  • Development of experiential activities
  • Parent and district communication
  • Planning and participation in adventure-based activities within a small team, and participation in extracurricular activities

 

Qualifications, required skills and experience:

  • NH Teaching Certificate
  • Knowledge of Curriculum Standards and standards-based grading knowledge of special education, instructional strategies, learning disabilities, PBIS, and experience in an alternative school setting
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must work well with others

Early Childhood Educators – Sunrise Children’s Center

Lead, Associate and Assistant Teachers

The overall responsibility of our teachers is to provide engaging, child inspired curriculum with a focus on the entire child in a team atmosphere. This includes leading intentional classroom activities using the NH Early Learning Standards. The Teacher provides direct care while meeting the needs of each individual child with support of their cognitive, social-emotional and physical development. Our Teachers offer complete supervision of all children enrolled while ensuring the program is in compliance with the NH State Licensing Bureau regulations. This position is responsible for a high level of parent communication, development of a creative and intentional learning environment and the establishment of child inspired curriculum practices for the classrooms.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
  • Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand
  • Strong communications skills
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Compliance with NH CCLU requirements for background checks and employment eligibility card
  • Must comply with the NH CCLU requirements for a Lead or Associate Teacher

 

Qualifications:

Lead Teacher

  • Minimum of 18 credits in child development, early childhood, or elementary education with 3 hours in child growth and development;
  • Documentation of non-expired child development associates (CDA) in center-based programs;
  • A credential from a teacher preparation program accredited by MACTE; or
  • Documentation from or on file with the department that she or he is qualified for and employed in the position of Lead Teacher on or before the effective date of these rules in 2017.

 

Associate Teacher

  • Minimum of 9 Early Childhood credits with 3 credits in Child Growth and Development, OR
  • 1,500 Hours of Supervised Experience, 3 ECE credits and a written plan for 6 ECE credits in 12 months, OR
  • Minimum of 100 hours of supervised experience and completion of a 2-year vocational/certificate childcare course

 

Assistant Teacher

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Prior experience working with children is a plus
