Anticipated Math Teacher for 23-24 School Year – Longview School

Do you want to have meaningful relationships with your students?  Do you want to be a part of a close-knit team working towards a common goal of engaging students towards their personal and academic goals?  Longview School is seeking a dynamic Math Teacher for the 23-24 School Year, to provide instruction to adolescents in a small therapeutic school community.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: lesson planning and instruction of all required math content areas; strong relationship building skills; development of experiential activities.  Must also be willing to plan and take part in adventure-based counseling activities within a small team on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate will have a NH Teaching Certificate or have educational qualifications in a related field, knowledge of Common Core and NH Curriculum Standards, knowledge of special education, alternative instructional strategies, learning disabilities, emotional, behavioral and mental health needs, and experience with technology like: Google Suite. Must possess strong organizational skills and good verbal and written communication skills and a passion for the outdoors is a plus.
