Longview School congratulates 2018 graduate Dave Cardin of Epping and Student of the Year Freddy Wells of Derry

We are proud to congratulate 2018 graduating senior, Dave Cardin of Epping, and 2018 Student of the Year, Freddy Wells of Derry. The Longview community celebrated the occasion at its annual graduation ceremony on June 26 in Deerfield, with a keynote speech from Longview teacher Cory Mollomo and a duet of “More than Words,” performed by Mollomo and Cardin.

“We extend a job well done to Dave and to his family, school district, and everyone at Longview School for their support in helping Dave earn his high school diploma,” said Judy Koch, RSEC’s executive director. “Dave has overcome challenges during his time at Longview, and those experiences will serve him well as he pursues future goals with motivation, confidence, and ultimately, success.” added Longview School Executive Director Tom Jennings.

Cardin’s post-graduate plans include entering the automotive industry.

The Longview community’s 2018 Student of the Year, Freddy Wells of Derry, was recognized for demonstrating the principles and philosophies of Longview School and RSEC while participating in community service and achieving academically. Wells brings a positive attitude every day, whether in the classroom or during adventure-based counseling days, and is always willing to help out his peers.

The Longview School is New Hampshire’s premier, alternative state-approved diploma-granting high school. While following New Hampshire Curriculum Frameworks, basic skills, content, and values are taught through experiential, hands-on opportunities. Longview recognizes the varying achievement levels of students and created a learning environment that addresses individuals’ academic needs based on established goals.
