Who We Serve at the Longview School
The Longview School serves high school students (grades 9-12) who may have struggled in their previous academic settings because of emotional and behavioral challenges or learning disabilities.
We take an adventure-based learning, experiential education and therapeutic services approach to create an atmosphere in which students can better understand their behaviors, build relationships and overcome challenges in the classroom and beyond.
An important part of our philosophy is that (1) students must be able to appropriately respond to feedback and redirection and be willing to do the work and (2) families must be a part of the collaborative relationship that supports the unique needs of each student.
We work with school districts and SAUs in the following towns. If you do not see your town on the list, feel free to contact us about the possibility of enrollment.
