Middle School and High School Reading Teachers – The RSEC Academy

The RSEC Academy is seeking a full and part-time Middle and High School Reading Teachers to provide direct systematic instruction to adolescents with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Individual and small group instruction
  • Lesson planning and instruction
  • Participation in community building activities for students, and parent and district communication

Qualifications, required skills and experience:

  • NH K-8 Teaching Certificate, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson and or LiPS training
  • Knowledge of Common Core Curriculum Standards
  • Knowledge of special education, instructional strategies, learning disabilities, PBIS and experience in an alternative school setting
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must work well with others
