Who We Serve: The RSEC Academy Middle School’s IEP Programs
Support for middle school students with nontraditional learning needs
The RSEC Academy Middle School’s programs help students across New Hampshire living with special needs and learning disabilities or who require social emotional support.
Our IEP programs were created as local solutions for students requiring more support than their school district could provide. Our students are intelligent, hardworking and driven, but need extra support to thrive in a traditional school setting.
While we never define a student by his or her diagnosis or IEP, we are certified and qualified to teach students with the following challenges:
- Language-based or non-verbal learning disabilities
- Autism
- Emotional disturbance
- Anxiety disorder or school phobia
- Health impairments
- Speech or language impairment
- Deaf or hard of hearing
In addition to academic success, our students acquire life skills and help transitioning back to their school district, to the next grade or the next exciting step in their academic careers.
