The RSEC Academy is seeking a dynamic special education Instructional Assistant with experience in behavioral interventions. This is a full-time school year position with benefits and professional development opportunities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
taking attendance, assisting students with school tasks;
data collection and management;
implementing behavioral interventions;
substitute teaching;
assisting teachers with classroom management and tasks.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of special education, instructional strategies, emotional and behavioral disabilities, behavioral interventions, and experience working with students in an alternative school setting. Must possess strong organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and work well with others.
